(Hong Kong, November 12, 2024) Information2 has officially signed a cooperation agreement with HKBN Enterprise Solutions Limited (“HKBNES”). According to the agreement, Information2 appoints HKBNES as the distributor for Hong Kong and Macao. Both parties will work together to enhance the operational resilience and data management efficiency of enterprise customers, jointly promoting digital transformation and resilient development.
Janny Jiang, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Information2, and Samuel Hui, Shareholding Manager and Chief Strategy Officer of HKBNES, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies. Justin Hu, Chairman and General Manager of Information2, and Denis Yip, President and Chief Operating Officer of the HKBN Group, along with relevant representatives from both sides, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
As a pioneer in the domestic data replication field, Information2, relying on its outstanding technical capabilities and rich industry experience, has successively served overseas government agencies, the financial services industry, telecommunications, energy, and other industry customers. In June this year, with the joint witness of the governments of the two places, Information2’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong officially commenced operations. Subsequently, the Hong Kong subsidiary quickly established a localized operating team, recruiting several senior experts who have deep roots in the Hong Kong market for many years. Currently, Information2 has successfully provided products and services to a well-known financial services industry.
According to the IDC report titled “China Data Replication and Protection Software Market Competitive Landscape, Vendor Revenue, 2024H1,” Information2 ranks first among “China’s professional disaster recovery software vendors” with a market share of 10.7%, demonstrating the company’s leading position in the field of data replication and management in the mainland. However, from a global perspective, the Chinese market only accounts for 8.6% of the global market, showing a significant gap compared to developed countries in Europe and North America. This also means that the overseas market holds immense potential for development. In this context, with Hong Kong serving as a key gateway to overseas markets, Information2 will strive to deepen its service capabilities in the local market and build a comprehensive support network, aiming to use Hong Kong as a base to radiate globally and realize its grand blueprint for international development.
HKBNES specializes in developing enterprise solutions and is a leading ICT system integrator. This powerful alliance with Information2 marks the introduction of Information2’s industry-leading data replication technology by HKBNES, significantly enhancing its service capabilities and support network in the local market. By integrating Information2’s advanced technology, HKBNES will be able to provide customers with more seamless and efficient data protection and management solutions, helping them improve business continuity, enhance operational resilience, and cope with increasingly complex and volatile market environments.
Denis Yip, President and Chief Operating Officer of the HKBN Group, said:
“HKBNES is committed to invest on sales, presales and services resources to promote information2 products and solutions. This cooperation with Information2 introduces industry-leading data backup and disaster recovery technology, further strengthening our support network in the local market. This collaboration will provide customers with seamless support for data protection, real-time data migration, database synchronization, replicated data management, etc., helping them enhance their operational resilience and maintain a competitive advantage in the rapidly changing market environment. In the future, we will continue to strive to develop more innovative services and work with the industry to create a bright future for the digital economy.”
Justin Hu, Chairman and General Manager of Information2, said:
“Since the inception, Information2 has had a global vision, not just limiting ourself to the mainland. Our team and products fully support the English environment, and we began exporting to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative in 2014. The soul of software lies in services. Good products must be accompanied by good service. We are honored to establish a partnership with HKBNES, a locally leading integrated telecommunications and technology service provider. We believe that this will bring diversified and multi-layered data protection and management solutions to various industries in Hong Kong. Together, we will enhance customers’ operational resilience and business resilience.”
